I would not recommend this company. The lack of communication, slow deliverables, and poor work showed me that I could have done all this myself. The only thing that I am happy about is the logo, which took too long to get. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I was given an incomplete website and had to ask several times how to activate the website. I normally don't do bad reviews and went back and forth about this review but I would hate for someone else to spend a lot of money to receive the same bad experience. Please either do this yourself or go to someone else. There is a huge lack of professionalism here as well as incomplete services. I tried my best to work with this company and all I got was "well this is a start-up company"...trust me you do not want a start-up company helping you start your business. I lost many clients due to this company. Still, I have no bitterness, I just would like to warn others before they spend THOUSANDS....

We're hoping any potential clients do their own research and read the reviews from our dozens of satisfied retainer clients on our site before believing this false review. We have evidence of our **weekly** communication with you. In addition to an email confirming your receipt of ALL the materials and the gratitude you expressed. I am glad to hear you were happy with the logo since we granted an extra free revision which is why it took longer (an additional week). Your website is complete, you were attempting to receive additional services outside of the scope after completion which I said we cannot do without additional charges. You were also sent a helpdesk article from Wix outlining how to "activate" your website. I think what you mean is to publish the site and the article walked you through the process. I have not, in 3 years of doing this been referred to as a racial slur by a client and had to ask repeatedly for you to refrain. Is that your brand of professionalism? And to add the "Still, I have no bitterness" at the end of this review- I am hoping to expose the level of condescension, arrogance, and disrespect of this individual. Lastly, you received a full marketing plan, brand guidelines, logo, full website redesign, mobile site design, and weekly status meetings with the entire team for $2,000- including the 20% discount we honor for all small Black businesses to reduce the racial wealth gap in this country. All calls are recorded and emails are retained. You served as a timeless reminder for all service providers; it is okay to say NO to clients. Especially, the blatantly disrespectful ones. Money, (albeit grossly undercharged in this case) is not worth your peace....

He was very nice. In the beginning we communicated fine. I was promised deadlines and they fell through each time and by weeks not days. I know this is late but I just came across this in my emails. I paid money for a service and the redo of my site came back not at all to what I was promised. I have a high end company and I asked for certain things and when I received the prototype of my page, there were a lot of typos. Certain things got reworded that I did not want done and that I had paid another person to do in the past. The images were not done in a manner that I wanted. They were not high end at all. I also wanted a image with movement and that did not happen. It seem very juvenile to be honest. I then told him that I needed things fixed and he disappeared, apologized and offered a discount but it was too pate for my timeline and I ended up paying him $400 and it got literally thrown in the trash. I actually ended up figuring out Wix myself and I did a great job for free. If you are looking for something very simple, maybe he is good at that. If you have a deadline, do not count on him for this. I was so disappointed. Especially because he was so great and nice when we met on zoom. I really liked him. He gave me hope. It was a complete let down in the end and he made $400 for doing a sire that was full of errors....

I did your full website myself, as a custom build based on your specific needs and communicated throughout. Sadly, your communication style was not always respectful and $400 is so below cost for a custom website that it isn't even worth the conflict. I really did my best and wish you all the success in the world!...

I have mixed feelings on what I should say in this review. First of all, I want to say that I love the website work they did for me. They really did a great job updating my site and giving it a fresh look. But my experience with them as a whole was negative. I agreed to go with them because they had reasonable rates and said they could deliver what I wanted. Part of our issues were on me...not really understanding the time bound nature of the agreement, which cost me additional fees (which although not happy about I could live with). But the negative experience around the deliverables that they said they would deliver is why I would rate them so low. There was a list of deliverables from the first contract that they did not deliver on nor would they discuss or give a status on them when I asked. It took several weeks to get an email explaining that the deliverables were not done because time ran out (again not clear in the agreement). Overall, I was left with the feeling that my business did not matter to them. With all that, I think they may also be having some growing pains so even though my experience was negative I still think they are worth taking a look at. I would just recommend being very clear on what is being delivered and how their process works....

I came across King's Dream BC and Jawan Harris while looking for a little professional help with my personal website...and I don't think I could have found anyone better! Jawan was great to work with -- friendly, insightful, communicative, and of course, skilled. There are lots of web design options out there but one thing I really love about King's Dream is a focus on diversity. In addition to being a black-owned business, they aim to work with woman-owned and BIPoC companies...something we really need in our society right now (and always). Thanks Jawan, I will recommend you to everyone!...
