Max is an absolute God send. I had issues uploading, resizing and cropping an event image on my WIX website and was ready to chuck my laptop out the window having spent nearly a week trying to resolve the issue. Hired Max to optimise our website but our experience was very disappointing I'm afraid. Communication was poor, had to constantly chase for updates and took far longer than promised. Ignored emails & meeting invite without any acknowledgement. Failed to meet the brief - no increase in web vital score on Google PageSpeed and new layout looked awful. We are a fair minded genuine small business but this turned out to be an expensive write off for us so be careful if you're hiring for similar work....

Hi Peter, I’m disappointed to read this, especially as your claims are not accurate. Your website speed was improved from a C rating (around 70%) to an A rating at 98%, and the evidence was emailed to you. Anyone can verify this on GTMetrix (https://gtmetrix.com/ ) by testing: https://jon67934.wixstudio.com/test You’ll see for yourself that the speed has been improved, despite what the client is saying. The original website was poorly designed by the client, and we recommended a redesign as the structure limited what could be achieved. All tasks in the brief were completed and checked off, and this has been submitted to Wix.com as the review does not reflect the work delivered. I have offered a refund to resolve matters, but unfortunately you cannot help a customer who rejects professional advice from the start. I wish you the best moving forward. Kind regards, Max...
