The Spinning Barn is an artisan fibre studio that specialises in workshops, fibre crafts, and quality materials for enthusiasts of spinning, weaving, and other fibre arts. As my longest-standing client, we’ve been collaborating for over 10 years, and in that time, I’ve had the privilege of evolving their website into a rich, multi-functional digital space that serves both the business and its community of fibre artists.

Project: Zoe Powell's Digital Hub Training

Objective: I created Zoe Powell's Digital Hub Training as a resourceful secondary website to demonstrate the powerful functionalities of Wix. My clients often prefer to see how features operate in real-world settings, so this website serves as a live showcase where they can explore various tools and design elements that Wix offers.

How I Helped: Through this platform, I provide clients with real-time examples of Wix features such as the online group function, and I’ve created easy-to-follow video guides to walk them through both the desktop and mobile versions of the platform. In addition to this, I’ve included walkthroughs for the website owner’s dashboard so clients can fully understand what they will have access to when managing their own websites.

Clients have found this website invaluable in helping them make informed decisions about which features they would like to include on their own sites. By seeing how different elements function and are managed, they are empowered to visualise their website's potential and get a better grasp on what will work best for their business needs. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with clients expressing how much easier it is to understand the platform and make confident choices for their own digital presence.

Outcome: This training site has not only provided clarity but also enabled my clients to gain confidence in navigating their own websites.
